Review from Amazon (Ken Richings on September 11, 2014):
Punch Notes is a slim volume written by a veteran teacher who shares both his practical advice on the art of Wing Chun (specifically about, mostly, punching) as well as some of his personal philosophy related to and inspired by this martial arts form which he has studied and taught for decades. It can be read by novice or expert. Do not expect a long-winded historical treatise on the art, nor complicated instructions. Its notes are meant to be easily read and its advice readily applied. The addition of select anecdotes from the training and teaching (and life on the streets) of Sifu Smith provides a personal touch that is inspiring. I look forward to reading it again (many times) in the future.
