| Lok Dim Boon Gwan DVD by Sifu Sam Hing Fai Chan
Lok Dim Boon Gwan is a very fast and powerful form with six and a half individual strikes.
Originally a Shaolin form, Wing Chun theories and principles such as centerline theory, economy of motion, and chew ying (facing) were applied to the form by Wong Wa Bo and Leung Ye Tay.
The Lok Dim Boon Gwan form can greatly increase the stability of stances, body movement, thrusting power, and strengthen the fingers, wrists, arms, shoulders, and upper body. The techniques are very fast and powerful, striking directly toward an opponent with no wasted motion.
This pole form uses a heavy pole nine foot (and sometimes longer) that tapers to a point at one end. It is unique in Wing chun as it uses two Shaolin stances not found elsewhere in the system, Horse Stance and Cat Stance.
This DVD includes: • Stance Training • Basic Pole training exercises • Individual Pole techniques / Combat applications • Individual and partner training drills • Step by step instruction in Lok Dim Boon Gwan • Lok Dim Boon Gwan Combat Applications • Multiple Camera Angles |
