Continued from the top:

Anthony Caucci began studying traditional Wing Chun at the age of twelve. He completed the Lo Man Kam System at the age of twenty two working with instructor Ken Mills in the Chinese Boxing Institute International organization. After that he traveled to Taiwan to meet Lo Man Kam (nephew of Grandmaster Yip Man) and studied with him for a while. At that time he was able to see what real Traditional Wing Chun was and how it was taught and applied in fighting. Upon returning from Taiwan, Anthony received his instructors certificate in Traditional Wing Chun after ten years of study.

Anthony next endeavor was to become proficient in other curriculum in the CBII programs as well as the Kai Sai Kung Fu methods. Some of the studies were Fukien White Crane, Chin na, Shoui Chaio, Pakua Chang, Hsing-i Chuan and Wa lu. During this time his main focus was on transitioning from Traditional Wing Chun to Kai Sai Wing Chun. As a part of the Kai Sai curriculum, one must first learn the traditional Wing Chun.

At the age of 24 he was able to travel and live in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan and study with some well know grandmasters such as Lo Man Kam (Wing Chun), Shen Moui Whei (chin na) and the monkey king Liao Wu Chang. After this season Anthony made some mistakes and bad judgements in his life which put him in some very dire circumstances and dangerous situations. While he admittedly was not proud of this time in his life it was also the time where his realistic training came into play and in some instances may have saved his life. In the Kai Sai method, mind training is very strong and Anthony credits it with helping him in these dark times. During this lengthy time, he felt that his ability to finish fights as taught in Kai Sai Wing Chun rather than what he had learned in the traditional methods was a major point in what shapes his theory of fighting today. Anthony was away from his Chinese Boxing roots and the Kai Sai group during this difficult time. After a remarkable change in the direction of his life, Anthony dedicated his life to the study of Kai Sai Wing Chun and realistic combat.

Kai Sai Wing Chun has always been a private system and was not promoted commercially. After ten years of Traditional Wing Chun and twenty three years of Kai Sai Wing Chun, Anthony is now Chief Instructor of Kai Sai Wing Chun International and a Senior student of Professor James Cravens, a direct student of Kai Sai. Kai Sai Wing Chun is now available to the public. These first set of instructional DVDs were not originally intended for public sale. They were designed as a teaching guide for those already involved in Kai Sai Wing Chun. Therefore, these DVDs are classified as instructional DVDs for Traditional Wing Chun teachers and advanced students who are looking to expand their Wing Chun to the next level which is “Realistic Lethal Wing Chun”.
