Master Samuel Kwok has been studying Wing Chun for over 30 years. He first studied under Chan Wai Ling in Hong Kong in 1967. After moving to the UK in 1972, he studied under Lee Shing. It was Lee Shing who introduced Sam to Master Ip Chun in 1978.
After intensive private study with Master Ip Chun in 1981, he was awarded Master Status and made senior overseas representative and chairman of the Ip Chun Martial Art Association.
In 1994 , Sifu Kwok returned to study with Ip Ching and is a senior representative of Grandmaster Ip Ching. Master Kwok has gone to Hong Kong and Foshan where he and a number of students have trained privately with Grandmaster Ip Ching.
In 1998, Master Kwok was awarded a BA Honors from Manchester University for a lifetime achievement in promoting the martial arts.
Samuel Kwok has also trained many of the top Wing Chun instructors now actively teaching in their own right in the UK and around the world.
