Buick Yip - Wing Chun Wooden Dummy Arm Set (aka Muk Yan Jong, or Mook Yan Jong)

This is a traditional Wing Chun Dummy arm set specially made for Buick Yip dummies.

The picture is just an example of what your arm set will look like. The arms are one solid piece of wood.

All dummy arms are made from Marble, Elm, Temple Pillar Wood, Eucalyptus, or Lychee wood. These woods were chosen for their density and are very hard to break.

Limited specs are provided by Buick. This arm set is meant as an extra for a Buick Dummy, not to be used in a new construction.

Checking/Cracks - because these are one-piece solid arms there might be checking/cracks in the wood that have been repaired. This is normal and should not affect the integrity of the arm. If it breaks along one of these cracks it will be replaced.

Measurements (lengths are approximate):
  • Arm length - 29.5 cm.
  • Tenon length - approx the same. Good for 21.5 cm dummy trunks.
  • Tenons are made to fit 4 cm square mortises.
  • Arms tip - 3.5 cm.
  • Arms base - 5.5 cm.
