Modell Design LLC, Forgemaster K. Ali, and famous U.S. custom knife maker David Broadwell did a joint project to create these unique Butterfly Swords. This particular design is extraordinarily difficult to make and expensive prototyping was required before reaching this final design. However, Modell Design's world-class experience designing butterfly knives promise these pieces of functional art are combat-ready weapons worthy of a master.
These limited edition blades feature rope-style file work under the quillon, an ergonomic sub-hilt handle design (the first ever sub-hilt BJD), a graceful Persian point with flowing lines and a Vietnam-era Scout Recon MACV Study Group tip design.
