BLACK LOCUST: Black Locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) is a wonderful hardwood for dummies. It has a Janka of 1700 (more than oak or ash, and similar to Hickory making it one of the hardest in North America/Europe) and dried weight of 48lbs/ft3. It is very resistant to rot and is considered to have the highest durability of the domestic hardwoods. The color tends to darken to a russet brown with age and can look similar to teak. Black Locust wood is chemical free, not pressure treated, and grows faster than any other known hardwood tree - giving it the lowest environmental impact of any hardwood on the market. Unlike Brazilian Ipe or other tropical hardwoods, Black Locust does not contribute to devastating tropical deforestation. Using Black Locust protects you and the environment. Naturally occurring flavanoids preserve the wood and keep it beautiful and durable so its beauty lasts a lifetime. These dummies weight about 50kg (110 lbs) plus the weight of the stand.

Arm Setting:
Level/Parallel The tips of the arms are the same height off the floor and level with each other.

Leg Setting:
Angled Most dummies have a knee angle of about 135 degrees (on the underside), so the shin is at about 45 degrees and extends past the arms. The leg extends 42 cm from the trunk (16.5 inches). This is the most common settings for dummies.

Stand Included:
The WALL STAND is the traditional stand for dummies and gives you the most stability and "play" with the dummy. Our unique wall stand is sturdy and gives you many options for easy height adjustment! It is a much better design than 99% of the walls stands on the market today. You will have to find a way to attach the stand to your wall. If you are in a house that uses studs in the walls you will fist need to put up cross beams between the studs then bolt the stand to the cross beams.
