Description

Jon Rister - Wing Chun 16 - Wing Chun Home Study Program (Red-Black Belt)

The Rister international martial art Wing Chun home study program is above board because:
- The lineage is solid
- The instructor has multiple systems learned that have corresponding principals
- This instructor has EXPERIENCE and understands the Psychology that must enter into the training, which is hidden in the forms of Wing Chun, but is rarely taught directly as it is here.

Join me in this Wing Chun journey to find the fighter within you through Wing Chun. Here is what a senior student has to say and, mind you, he studied many years before he met me.

What sets this program apart from all other Wing Chun programs is that Sifu Jon Rister will train the genuine fighting art without holding back. Not only will you progress more rapidly than any other program, you will have the mindset and understanding to see through all the problems in the way Wing Chun is taught and executed today. This is not a demonstration art. You will not learn theatrics. This is a real weapons-based system that is unforgiving and brutally efficient. Other schools will hold back the weapons aspect until you have spent many, many years training. This is withholding the understanding and tactics of the real fight. Unfortunately, most schools simply do not understand the tactics or confuse techniques for tactics. At Rister International Martial Arts, this tactical mindset is taught early on. I have been in this program for over 10 years, and I have been through several advancements in curriculum changes. I can testify that if one applies himself or herself, you can progress very rapidly in this program. The goal of the curriculum and each level of proficiency is made quite clear. If you know your destination, then the pathway to getting there is so much more attainable. After diligent study and practice under Sifu Jon, I can instantly see the problems and errors of many so-called experts and masters of these arts. So if you are serious in learning the genuine art of Wing Chun and do not want to waste your time or money, the choice is quite obvious - Rister International Martial Arts Wing Chun program. However, do not take my word for it, try it for yourself. See how far and how fast you can excel. Posers will not apply. -Dr. Alfred Huang, Senior Level Instructor

Wing Chun belt rank system 2019 RIMA

For each level of Wing Chun we ask for a little of the forms, some base of fire striking, as well as a good understanding of core principals of Wing Chun. Dr. Alfred and I have gone to the trouble of writing two books explaining terminology and many other important aspects of this art, therefore I will not write two books here on this curriculum. If you are training in this program you should have access to our books, videos and these works use all three combined with lessons with me (privately) or a principal instructor of ours. In cases where you have limited access to lessons with me use face books page to ask questions and get advice, that is what it is there for. Wing Chun is based first and foremost on simplicity.
