Iron Training Jows Massage Liniments
Dit Da Jows have many uses, depending on the formula. Mostly they are used for healing. Good Jows are not miracle cures, but help promote your own body's healing methods. They are great for bruises, sprains, pulled tendons or muscles, bone bruises, and other uses. They are also perfect for toughening the striking surfaces of the body, hardening bones and Iron Palm training.

If you are a serious Wing Chun practitioner, train Iron Palm, or train your body hard, then using Dit Da Jow is a must!

For the traditionalists, we carry Jows made using the ancient methods. These formulas are like the ones your Sifu uses and are usually kept secret.

The Wing Chun jows are general purpose jows and good for both healing and conditioning and regular training.

The "hot" jows bring the chi to the area applied. These are used a lot to promote healing during Iron Training. They are also good for hand injuries. They bring chi to the injured area and promote circulation and blood flow. You won't necessarily feel "heat" on your hands or area of application like you would with a tiger balm, but some people do. The "hot"/"heat" refers to the type of jow and the brining of chi to the area.

The "cold" condenses the chi in the applied areas. These are typically best used right after an injury occurs to help speed the healing process. Once the swelling goes down one would switch to a "hot" or general purpose jow to promote faster healing. You won't necessarily feel "coolness" on your hands or area of application, although some people do. The "cold" refers to the condensation of chi in the applied area.

The "iron training" jows differ based on the herbs used in the formula. They are the final formulas for "iron" training and are used for maintenance training of the iron skills after the final stage is completed. Each jow has special formulas and purposes.

Please read the jow descriptions for more details. Iron Training programs are listed at the bottom of the page.

For best results leave the Jows on for 2 hours before washing off.

Dit Da Jow - Iron Goddess 4 oz Dit Da Jow - Eagle Claw 4 oz Dit Da Jow - Sinew Change 4 oz
This liniment is for internal martial artists who are interested in strengthening the fingers for Dim Mak or finger dotting skills. It is also used for concentrating on striking small areas. Iron Goddess condenses the energy and seals all of the acupuncture points on the hand, except those on the fingertips. Tighter energy circulation helps focus the transfer of power. This liniment is designed for the last stages of finger training and should be used only by persons who already have undergone extensive hand preparation with hot liniments. The Third Stage of hand conditioning involves the use of the Eagle Claw liniment. Training at this point turns toward the internal. Attacks are aimed at vital pressure points, and the energy is consciously directed so that damage is caused internally. Regular training will increase the concentration of chi condensed in the marrow of the hands, continually strengthening them. This strong Shaolin formula is originally from Ta Mo’s "Sinew Change Classic". In the original Temple Style training, the hands are "washed" in a large pot liniment both before and after practicing striking techniques. This opens the "Luo" channels that originate in the joints and supply constructive energy to protect the hands. Continued training will temper the hand, pushing energy inside the muscle and sinew that lie along the bone. Then the Chi is condensed in the marrow. This is the original method that gives the fighting styles, like, Eagle Claw, Phoenix Eye or Dim Mak their internal power.
